You know something is off. Maybe it started slowly. Maybe you can’t pinpoint when. But the things that used to feel easy now feel impossible.
Getting out of bed takes everything you have. Plans you made feel pointless by the time they arrive. People ask how you are, and you say “fine” because explaining it would take more energy than you have left.
Some days it’s heavy sadness. Some days it’s nothing at all. Just flat. Empty. Going through the motions without feeling connected to any of it.
