Kavita Brijpaul is a compassionate psychotherapist dedicated to creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered. She is queer- and neurodivergent-affirming and grounds her work in anti-racist, anti-oppressive frameworks. Kavita honors each client’s lived experience and identity while supporting them in navigating life’s challenges.

She has extensive experience working with individuals who have survived trauma, abuse, and substance use. Kavita tailors her approach to each person, integrating evidence-based modalities such as CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Strengths-Based approaches, Mindfulness, Person-Centered Therapy, Somatic experience, and Internal Family Systems. This flexibility allows her to create personalized pathways toward meaningful and lasting change.

Kavita’s practice is rooted in the belief that healing is possible when clients feel validated and supported in ways that respect their whole selves. She works to help people build resilience, restore a sense of agency, and move toward lives defined by greater self-understanding, strength, and connection.
